Leave Tree Marking. Trees to be left are designated by paint marks on the bole near eye level and a xxxx xxxx below xxxxx height with ORANGE paint in the seed tree unit in Allotment 292 and in Tribal Allotment 330; with BLUE paint in the seed tree unit in Allotment 310, and with WHITE paint in the seed tree unit in Allotment 312. All unmarked trees shall be cut and tested for merchantability.

Leave Tree Marking. The xxxxx xxxx shall be a minimum size of 6 inches long and 2 inches wide. It shall be placed at the base of every leave tree. Place on the downhill side, in a crevice if one is available, with xxxx xxxx extending onto the ground 2 inches. A horizontal band at least 2” wide must encircle the tree between 5.0’ and 7.0’ above the ground. Only live coniferous trees >7.0”+ dbh will be marked as leave trees. Hardwood trees shall not be marked and only marked trees will be counted as leave BA, unless otherwise stated in unit marking guide. Contractor will provide orange and black paint. Orange paint is to be used to designate leave trees. Black paint is to be used when the contractor adjusts or changes a tree designation and shall completely cover all other paint on the tree, including the horizontal band and xxxx xxxx. Contractor will have reporting requirements for marking. Once marking in a cutting unit is completed and approved by the Forest Service, the cutting unit will be considered as Leave Tree Marked. No marked leave tree must be cut by the contractor without prior authorization from the Forest Service. Abbreviations; Rx= Silvicultural Prescription, TPA = Trees per acre. BA = Basal area, expressed as square feet per acre (ft2/ac). SP= Species including PP (ponderosa pine), WL(western larch), DF (Xxxxxxx fir), WP (western white pine), RC (western red cedar) ES(Xxxxxxxxx spruce), GF (grand fir), WH (western hemlock), AF (subalpine fir), LP(lodgepole pine), QA (quaking aspen), PB (paper birch), MPB (Mountain Pine Beetle), DMR (dwarf mistletoe rating). NFS = National Forest System.

  • Clean-Up Period (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of any Finance Document:

  • Drug-Free Workplace Policy Consultant shall provide a drug-free workplace by complying with all provisions set forth in City’s Council Policy 100-5, attached hereto as Exhibit “D” and incorporated herein by reference. Consultant’s failure to conform to the requirements set forth in Council Policy 100-5 shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement and shall be cause for immediate termination of this Agreement by City.

  • Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.
