Leave Process. The teacher will notify the Superintendent by April 1 of the teacher's intention to return at the beginning of the next school year following termination of the leave. All requests for extensions or renewals of leave must be applied for in writing on or before March 15 of each year in which the leave expires. Decisions of such requests will be confirmed in writing by April 15.
