Learning New Mode. 193. Except as provided in Section 14.2, when learning different equipment, all Operators who have passed the probationary period shall be paid at their regular rate except as herein provided. This also applies to Operators who return to work after absence. Operators required to go to the Instruction School on their own time shall be paid travel time to and from their division at applicable rate. If an Operator switches modes of equipment more than once in a three year period, on the second or subsequent switches he or she will be permitted 5 days of training only at his or her regular rate of pay. Training required thereafter shall be on the Operator's own time.
