LEADER PAY. 98 An employee who, in addition to their normal duties and responsibilities, is specifically assigned by a supervisor the responsibility to assign and coordinate the work of three or more employees, to see that the assignment runs smoothly and efficiently, and to answer to their immediate supervisor or designated representative for the progress or lack of progress and the quality of work being done, shall be paid $2.13 per hour in addition to their hourly rate during the period of their assignment. Such assignments are solely within the discretion of the University. An employee shall be paid this leader rate for all time actually worked in this capacity and for all paid time off, provided the employee is so assigned prior to and subsequent to their paid time off. Typically, duties may include, but are not limited to, training and direction of employees, manpower requests, material ordering, scheduling and planning work, communication with other parts of the organization and customers, the collection and verification of time card completion and the reporting of job related problems to their supervisor. Such duties will include no authority to hire, discipline, discharge, or approve time off requests.
LEADER PAY. The Company, at its exclusive discretion, may assign or remove an employee as a Leader. An Employee assigned as a Leader will, in addition to his/her regular duties, under supervisor’s direction, assist and direct the work of other employees in the performance of their duties. The Leader will not participate in the duties of hiring, dismissal and/or disciplinary activities. An Employee acting in this capacity will be paid a premium of five percent (5%) of the top job rate in the group.
LEADER PAY. Those individuals awarded and who retain the title of “Lead” as well as those employees temporarily assigned to lead positions will receive one dollar twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour additional pay for all time worked.

  • Low Census Low census is defined as a decline in patient care requirements resulting in a temporary staff decrease. During temporary periods of low census, the Employer will 1. Send home Agency nurses. 2. Cancel Overtime shifts. 3. Cancel incentive shifts. 4. Ask for volunteers. 5. Cancel reserve nurses. 6. Cancel part-time nurses working above their assigned FTE.

  • ACCIDENT PAY The company shall pay accident pay as defined in the award, during the incapacity of their employee/s arising from any one injury, for a total of fifty-two (52) weeks - irrespective of whether such incapacity is in one continuous period or not.

  • Service Pay ‌ All regular employees shall be granted service pay in the amount of ten cents (10c/ ) per calendar day for each five (5) years of continuous service completed. After the first five (5) years of service, ten cents (10c/ ); after five (5) further years of service, an additional ten cents (10c/ ); and a like increase for each additional five (5) years of service completed.

  • Longevity Pay If an employee leaves State Classified employment and later is rehired, he/she shall receive no longevity pay. However, once such a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for longevity pay. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received. (See Article 22, Section Q.)

  • Overtime Pay ‌ Overtime pay shall be paid to the employee on the next paycheque after the expiration of the pay period in which the overtime was earned except as provided in Article 16.6 (Compensating Time Off) below.
