Layoff List Computation. A. Every Layoff list shall be established by the Human Resources Department based on information contained in the Human Resources Department Records for each classification. B. Regular employees who held seasonal, limited term or provisional status prior to permanent appointment shall receive seniority credit for status only if the service was continuously compensated employment prior to appointment to a permanent position. One point of seniority credit shall be given for each full calendar month of full-time service (one month of full time service is 173.3 hours) in the General-Public Works or Administrative-Confidential Units. Pro rata credit shall be given where the employment is less than full-time and/or the employment is less than a full month. In the event two or more employees have the same number of seniority points, such tie shall be broken by lot.
