Common use of Lactation Breaks Clause in Contracts

Lactation Breaks. a. Lactation breaks are provided to mothers for breastfeeding and related activities in addition to other breaks specified in this Agreement. b. One paid 30-minute lactation break will apply if the employee works up to 4 hours a day and two paid lactation breaks will apply if the employee works more than 4 hours a day. c. Access to a suitable, private space for the purpose of breastfeeding or expressing milk will be made available and can be an office or meeting room. d. Employees who need support or treatment in relation to breastfeeding and the transition to the workplace may utilise the provisions available under Sick Leave To Care For A Family Member.
