Common use of JOB CONTACTS Clause in Contracts

JOB CONTACTS. Any authorized representative of the Union shall have the right to contact individual employees working within the representation unit represented by his/her organization in County facilities during business hours on matters within the scope of representation providing prior arrangements have been made for each such contact with the Agency/Department Head who shall grant permission for such contact, if, in his/her judgment, it will not disrupt the business of the work unit involved. When contact in the work location is precluded by confidentiality of records, or of work situation, health and safety of employees or the public, or by disturbance to others, the Agency/Department Head shall make other arrangements for a contact location removed from the work area during the same work day or the following work day.
