Introduction and Discontinuation Language. (a) A compressed work week shall be introduced when, the Union will agree if 50% plus one (1) of its members in the effected unit or department signify their acceptance through a secret ballot. (b) A compressed work week may be discontinued when, the Union will agree to a discontinuation if 50% plus one (1) of its members in the effected unit or department vote for a discontinuation. When notice of discontinuation is given by either the Union or the Hospital in accordance with paragraph (b) above, then the parties shall meet within two (2) weeks of giving notice to review the request for discontinuation, and where it is determined that the compressed work week will be discontinues, affected employees shall be given four (4) weeks notice before the schedules are so amended.
