Interviewing & selection of applicants. for a place on a secondary course Selection of applicants is a responsibility of both school and university based partners. Mentors and professional tutors in the partnership are encouraged to participate in interviewing candidates for a place on a secondary programme and, where necessary, it is hoped that they will be released by their school in order to do so. All applicants are required to spend a minimum stipulated amount of time in a secondary school prior to being accepted on to the course. Where enquiries are made by candidates living locally to the University about this entry requirement they will be referred to partnership schools which they can contact in order to arrange/gain this experience.
