Interviewing Opportunity. A representative of the Union or Xxxxxxx shall be given an opportunity to interview each new Employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes during the first month of employment for the purpose of acquainting the new Employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and its responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union.

An Officer of the Union shall be given an opportunity to interview each new employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes during the first month of employment for the purpose of acquainting the new employee with the benefits and duties of union membership and his/her responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union.

Interviewing Opportunity. Each new employee will be given the opportunity during the first month of employment, within regular working hours, of visiting the Union Office or meeting with the Shop Xxxxxxx for the purpose of joining the Union and becoming acquainted with the rights and responsibilities of membership. Such absence from the work place will be reasonably brief and taken at a time convenient to both the employee and the supervisor.

A representative of the Association shall be given an opportunity to interview each new employee within regular working hours without loss of pay for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes during the first month of employment for the purpose of acquainting each new employee with the benefits and responsibilities of Association membership.
Interviewing Opportunity. The Employer agrees to acquaint new employees with the fact that a Union agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment as they are set out in the Collective Agreement. On commencing employment, the employee's immediate supervisor shall introduce the new employee to her/his Union Xxxxxxx within their first (1st) month of employment.
Interviewing Opportunity. (a) The Employer shall provide the Union local secretary with the names of all new hires within fourteen (14) calendar days of the appointment.

On commencing employment the employee's immediate supervisor shall introduce the new employee to his/her union officer or representative so that he/she is aware of the union, the existence of the collective agreement and the determination of the parties to maintain harmonious labour relations. The President of the union or his/her designate shall be given an opportunity once per month for a maximum of thirty minutes to meet with regular and temporary employees hired during the previous month for the purpose of acquainting the new employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and his/her responsibilities and obligations to the University and the Union.
Interviewing Opportunity. The Union President or designate shall be given thirty (30) minutes to provide newly hired employees a Union orientation. This orientation will take place during the initial training block when the newly hired employees are receiving their initial training and orientation from the Employer.

Such officer of the Union shall be given an opportunity to interview each new Employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes during the first month of employment for the purpose of acquainting the new Employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and his/her responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union.
