Permission to Leave Work. The Employer agrees that stewards shall not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with in any way in the performance of their duties, while investigating disputes and presenting adjustments as provided in this Article. The Union recognizes that each xxxxxxx is employed by the Employer and that they will not leave their work during working hours except to perform their duties under this Agreement. Therefore, no xxxxxxx shall leave their work without permission of their supervisor, which will not be unreasonably withheld.
Permission to Leave Work a) Any employee who feels that she has been aggrieved or any employee with relevant grievance information shall receive permission from her supervisor to leave work temporarily without loss of pay, in order to discuss the complaint with the appropriate Union representative. If it is impossible to leave work immediately due to work requirements other arrangements shall be made on work time, as soon as possible.

The Employer agrees that the Xxxxxxx will not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with in any way in the performance of the Xxxxxxx’x duties, while investigating disputes, and presenting adjustments as provided in this Article. The Union recognizes that the Xxxxxxx is employed to perform full time work for the Employer and that the Xxxxxxx will not leave work during working hours except to perform the duties under this Agreement. Therefore, the xxxxxxx shall not leave the Xxxxxxx’x work without obtaining the permission of the Xxxxxxx’x supervisor, which permission shall not be withheld unjustly.

The Union recognizes that each Xxxxxxx is employed by the Employer and that they will not leave their work during working hours except to perform their duties under this Agreement and that no Xxxxxxx shall leave their work without obtaining permission from their supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably denied.
Permission to Leave Work. It is agreed that Shop Stewards will not absent themselves from their departments for the purpose of handling grievances without first obtaining permission of the Shop Xxxxxxx'x supervisor and that permission will not be unreasonably withheld.
Permission to Leave Work. The Union recognizes that each Xxxxxxx or designated Union representative is employed for certain hours by the University and will not leave his work during working hours unless it is unavoidable, and prior permission has been obtained from the Xxxx or his designate. The Xxxxxxx or Union representative will not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with while investigating a grievance or presenting an adjustment as provided for in this agreement.
Permission to Leave Work. The Employer agrees that the grievor and Union Representative may leave assigned duties temporarily in order to discuss matters related to a grievance. The grievor and Union Representative shall request permission of their supervisor(s) and suitable arrangements shall be made by the supervisor(s) prior to the Employees leaving. Neither the grievor nor Union Representative shall suffer any loss of pay for the time so spent.
Permission to Leave Work. The Employer agrees that Stewards shall be given reasonable freedom of action in investigating disputes and presenting adjustments. It is agreed that no Union official or Xxxxxxx shall leave their work without obtaining permission from their Supervisor which shall not be unreasonably withheld. Every reasonable effort will be made to schedule the meetings required under this Grievance Procedure at times which do not conflict with scheduled teaching assignments. When this is not possible, an employee, whether as a grievor, witness, or Union representative who is required to miss a teaching assignment shall suffer no loss of pay and benefits to which they would otherwise be entitled as a bargaining unit employee.
Permission to Leave Work. Union Stewards and members of the Grievance Committee shall be permitted time off to handle grievances without loss of pay, provided they have first sought and obtained permission from their immediate supervisor to absent themselves from their regular duties for that purpose, which permission shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Permission to Leave Work. The Union understands and agrees that every employee is employed to perform work for the Employer. Union representatives will not leave work during working hours to perform duties under this Collective Agreement without obtaining the permission of the Supervisor, which permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. When resuming their regular work, they shall again report to their Supervisor. Time away from the job by Union Representatives shall be with pay if during normal working hours and if such time has been granted.
