Common use of Interoffice Transmission Facilities Clause in Contracts

Interoffice Transmission Facilities. 11.5.1 BA will provide Covad access to unbundled interoffice transmission facilities as set forth herein between its Central Offices. 11.5.2 BA will provide Covad access to unbundled shared IOF transport in conjunction with Covad's purchase of unbundled local switching. Unbundled shared IOF transport provides Covad access to BA's inter-office transport facilities (i.e. existing route(s) that are used within the ▇▇▇▇ Atlantic network) which carry transmission from several different carriers, including BA. 11.5.3 BA will provide Covad access to unbundled dedicated IOF transport. "Dedicated Transport" is an interoffice transmission path of fixed capacity between designated locations to which Covad is granted exclusive use. Access to Dedicated Transport is from Covad's switching office or from its Collocation arrangement established at BA's Central Office.
