Inside Work. For all inside work it is agreed that for the purpose of safety and protection of personnel and property and where glass is more difficult or dangerous to handle, the Employer will use additional employees required for safety.
Inside Work. A. The Vendor performing work under this Agreement shall have a minimum of ten (10) years experience with inside telephone cable plant installation and maintenance. Of the ten (10) years experience, at least five (5) years shall have been either under contract with a regulated telephone company or in contract of a company which performed work for a regulated telephone company. Such experience shall be demonstrated by the Vendor providing a list of at least three (3) references for whom the Vendor has provided installation and maintenance services during the past year. B. The Vendor shall have a working knowledge of all current telephone industry wiring, installation, and maintenance practices for inside cable plant. Such knowledge and experience will be demonstrated by submission of resumes to Communications Services prior to assignment of the employee for work under this agreement. Communications Services retains the right to reject the services of any Vendor employee for grounds related to experience or performance. C. Vendor shall have demonstrated experience with the installation, maintenance and repair of both 10A2 and digital key systems. Such experience shall be demonstrated by the Vendor providing a list of at least three (3) references for whom the Vendor has provided installation and maintenance services during the past year. D. The Vendor shall have a working knowledge and demonstrated experience in the design, placement, termination and testing of EIA/TIA-568 wiring systems. Further, such knowledge and experience shall include application of EIA Technical Services Bulletins TSB-36 and TSB-40 for EIA/TIA-568A installations. Such knowledge and experience shall be demonstrated by the Vendor providing employee resumes and a list of at least five (5) references for whom the Vendor has provided EIA/TIA Category 5 wiring services. E. Vendor shall have knowledge and experience in the testing of EIA/TIA-568, Category 5 wiring systems using automated test equipment. F. All materials for all inside cable work may be provided by the University for work performed under this agreement. Vendors shall draw materials from the Communications Services' parts room using procedures defined at the commencement of this contract. Vendors shall assume full inventory and financial responsibility for all parts drawn from the campus during an installation or repair procedure. G.
