Common use of IN-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM Clause in Contracts

IN-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM. The County Office may, in its discretion, provide a program of in-service training for employees in the bargaining unit designed to maintain a high standard of performance and to increase the skills of employees in the bargaining unit. To the extent a bargaining unit member voluntarily attends a County Office provided in-service training outside of his/her normal work hours, the County Office proposes to provide an hourly in-service training rate of $20.00 per hour for attendance at such trainings.
