Common use of Hospitalisation Clause in Contracts

Hospitalisation. If during the Operative Time the Insured Person sustains an Accident resulting in Bodily Injury which within two years is the sole and independent cause of the Insured Person being admitted to hospital on the recommendation of a Medical Practitioner the Insurer will pay £50 per full 24 hours up to a maximum of 104 weeks any one Insured Person while they are a hospital in-patient. If the Insured Person is a hospital in-patient for a period of at least 7 consecutive days the Insurer will pay the Insured a one off payment of £500.
