Common use of Holidays Worked Clause in Contracts

Holidays Worked. If an employee is required to work on a holiday, the employee shall receive holiday pay plus pay for time actually worked on the holiday. If the time actually worked on a holiday is not overtime, the employee's pay for the time worked shall be the employee's regular straight time rate. If the time actually worked on a holiday is overtime, the employee's pay for the time worked shall be one and one-half times the employee's regular rate.
