Holidays Listed. A. The following days shall be considered as holidays: New Year’s Day ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇. Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day B. In the event that one of the holidays falls on a Saturday or Sunday METRO will have the option of observing the holidays on Friday or Monday. C. In addition to the above, the Operator’s birthday will be recognized as a holiday. For an Operator’s birthday falling on February 29th, the twenty-eighth (28th) day of February will be observed as the Operator’s birthday in years other than leap years.
