Health Insurance Coverage for Laid. off Employees Employees who have been laid off shall be eligible to participate at their cost in group health insurance as allowed by the health insurance contract and/or law at that time. Employees who desire to maintain group health insurance in accordance with this Article must so notify the Director of Operations/HR in writing as provided by the law in effect at the time of the layoff. Failure to make payments as required shall result in cancellation of insurance.
