Common use of Headings and Construction Clause in Contracts

Headings and Construction. The headings of sections in this Agreement are for convenience of reference only and are not intended to qualify the meaning of any section. Any reference to a section number shall refer to a section of this Agreement, unless otherwise stated. Any reference to the term "Board" shall mean the Board of Trustees of the Bank while the Bank is a mutual savings bank and the Board of Directors of the Bank while the Bank is a stock savings bank. Any reference to the term "Bank" shall mean the Bank in its mutual form prior to the conversion and in its stock form on and after the conversion. If the Bank does not convert to stock form, any reference to the Bank's being a stock savings bank shall have no effect.
