Guidelines for Access. (i) Process 1. Performance development plans ( PDP) - All staff to have performance development plans and annual reviews. Training needs should be identified prior to or during this process and agreed by both parties. 2. Process for applying for training - Training need outlined in PDP - Nominate course - Identify costs - Negotiate with supervisor / manager for approval and or time to attend particular course - Leave application form to be completed - Arrangements for cover - To appeal, approach supervisor / manager directly - If appeal is unsuccessful, approach relevant HR Manager for reconsideration in consultation with supervisor / manager and / or their manager if necessary.
