Grading Days. For personnel at secondary school sites, the last regular day of duty shall be reserved as a grading day. For personnel at elementary school sites, the next to last regular day of duty and one-half of the final regular day of duty shall be reserved as grading days. The final grading days for elementary and secondary personnel shall be noted on the adopted school calendar.
Grading Days. Grading days and grading time shall be educator directed time for licensed staff responsible for issuing student grades/progress reports. This work may be completed remotely at the discretion of the educator and with prior approval of their supervisor. All other licensed staff who are not responsible for issuing student grades/progress reports may attend meetings, professional development, or complete other tasks as directed by their supervisor for no more than half of the designated grading time (full day, four hours and half day, two hours). These employees shall have their preparation time on these days and will schedule their preparation time during the grading portion of the day. 1. For employees at secondary school sites, the last day of the term shall be designated as a grading day. Every progress reporting period one half-day shall be reserved for grading. 2. For employees at elementary school sites, the next to last regular day of duty and one- half of the final regular day of duty shall be designated as grading days. One day shall be reserved for grading coinciding with the first and second trimesters at the middle schools. Employees required to issue student grades may only be required to attend emergency or IEP meetings on the four (4) days prior to the grading day. This does not include the four (4) days prior to the final grading day of the year. 3. Grading days for elementary and secondary personnel shall be noted on the adopted school calendar.
Grading Days. A. The calendar will include one grading day per reporting period, directly following the last student day for the reporting period. Grades will be due at 8:00 AM on the contract day following the grading day, or upon checkout on the last work day. On a grading day, members will not have any assigned duties or meetings. The last student contact day of the school year, after students' early release, shall be reserved for member work time with no more than one hour of meetings. B. Bargaining unit members may choose to work from home on teacher grading days provided that they “sign outprior to working remotely and provides a telephone number for immediate contact during the contracted work hours. Bargaining unit members working remotely must comply with the deadlines established by the building principal for grade entry. Failure to turn in grades in a timely fashion or respond to telephone calls from the school during working hours may result in a loss of the work remotely privilege for the bargaining unit member for the rest of the academic year.
Grading Days. For schools using a quarter system, the District shall provide 3 half days of grading time for teachers, one each at the end of first, second, and third quarters. For schools using a trimester system, the District shall provide 2 half days of grading time for teachers, one each at the end of the first and second trimesters. Building Administrators may not call or schedule meetings on these “grading days.”

In emergency situations, if school based licensed staff are required to attend to other tasks that are not educator directed, they will be compensated hourly based on their per diem rate. 1. No meetings for staff required to provide grades other than emergency or IEP meetings shall occur the four (4) days prior to these grading days.
Grading Days. One at the end of the first, second and third terms to be used for grading, planning and uninterrupted work time in the classroom and no more than one hour for district directed activities on any one grading day. Grades will be due by 3:30 PM on grading day. However, teachers may make arrangements with the principal to have grades completed and entered into the computer by 8:00 AM the following school day.
