GENERAL WORKING PRACTICES. All working areas should be kept clean and tidy, and any waste should be removed and placed in the containers provided. All spillages should be cleaned up immediately. All trailing wires and hoses should not be allowed to create a trip hazard. Whenever vehicle engines are being run, adequate ventilation must be ensured. All safety notices must be complied with. Any person carrying out work must ensure that they adopt safe working practices at all times, and comply with any relevant statutory provision and/or published guidance. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the pit lane, or in infield areas except in designated spectator areas.

  • Hiring Practices The Board shall, in all instances, employ teachers who are properly credentialed in accordance with applicable state laws, Washington Administrative Code, and by such other requirements as specified by the Office of the State Superintendent of Public Education. Classified personnel shall not be assigned to perform work in the instructional setting which will replace a currently employed certificated employee in his assignment or employment.
