General Issues. a. The Employer recognizes the Employee’s seniority rights within each classification for the Employees covered under this Agreement. b. Seniority is intended to provide maximum work opportunity and hours to senior Employees, so long as they have the skill, ability, availability and qualifications to do the work. c. Casual Employees have seniority only within the casual classification, a part-time Employee has preferred status to a Casual Employee and a full time Employee has preferred status to a part time Employee.
