Common use of Future Adjustments Clause in Contracts

Future Adjustments. The parties agree that this Article, or any other provision of this Agreement, does not constitute an expectation of receiving the enumerated retirement benefits by any current employee, future employee, prospective employee or applicant beyond the expiration of this Agreement. Therefore, except as otherwise limited by applicable law, it is understood that the Board and Association may, in the future, bargain modifications of any kind to this provision, provided however, that the future revision of this Article shall not affect the retirement benefits of teachers already receiving benefits pursuant to this Section.
