Common use of Future Adjustments Clause in Contracts

Future Adjustments. The parties agree this Appendix, or any other provision of this Agreement, does not constitute an expectation of receiving the enumerated retirement benefits by any current teacher, future teacher, prospective teacher or applicant beyond the expiration of this Agreement. Therefore, except as otherwise limited by applicable law, it is understood the Board and Association may in the future bargain modifications of any kind to this provision, provided however, the future revision of this Appendix shall not affect the retirement benefits of teachers already receiving benefits pursuant to this Appendix.
