FREEZING POINT. This test is to detect added water. Nutritional problems can cause freezing points to rise, but not generally above - 0.5°C. With payments for composition, there is no incentive to add water to milk. We still test for ‘Added Water’ however as it can occur and is a risk to overall milk quality at the factory. Members will be notified of issues as they arise. If suppliers are found to have water in their milk, they may be subject to suspension until the issue is resolved.

FREEZING POINT. This test is to detect added water. Suppliers will be notified of issues if they arise. Poor Milk Quality Suppliers who have poor quality milk (i.e., high Bacto, high Thermodurics, high SCCs, high Temperature, etc.) will be advised in writing and collection may be suspended until FDA Representative is satisfied that a suitable milk hygiene program has been put in place. Milk collection may cease entirely if poor milk quality persists over the course of three months. Communication of Milk Quality Results All milk test results are available within approximately 36 hours of the milk being collected. Tests are available by SMS/email/internet (FDA Portal). Suppliers are reminded that the tanker docket system may not always be available, and it is recommended that they use the electronic methods for regular retrieval of milk quality and production results. The email/SMS/internet system is the most timely and efficient way of getting your results. Insurance Cover All suppliers are advised to have adequate insurance to cover any and all incidences of milk loss, contamination or damage to other supplier’s milk in the milk tanker. FDA will not be responsible for payment of milk not collected or not utilised by FDA due to: Milk contamination as defined by these Conditions of Supply - • Inhibitory substancesMilk temperatureAdverse weather conditions • Where the farm has restricted access due to safety, or notified public health reasons – such as animal disease (botulism, FMD, Anthrax) etc. • Road access – specifically lack of adequate road access due to weather conditions: Farmers are reminded that they must have 24-hour, all-weather access and safe road access for milk tankers under all weather conditions to the dairy (see transport section 6 for further details). Inhibitory Substances and Residues FDA strongly encourages suppliers to discuss with FDA Representative any suspect milk before pick-up and take advantage where necessary of the preliminary testing if advised to do so. FDA strives to remove the risk of contaminated milk entering the processing system. Inhibitory substances can include, but are not limited to: antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, detergents (especially quaternary ammonium compounds), blood, and colostrum. These substances, especially antibiotics, can have extreme effects on the manufacturing processes. In most cases a freezing point under -0.517, will indicate the presence of extraneous water, over and above that of the natural water content of milk. Beston may test for freezing point at times throughout the year to ensure customer requirements are met. Sensory Test When picking up milk from a supplier, tanker drivers have been instructed to complete a sensory test on the milk. The tanker driver will check that the supplier’s milk meets the following criteria: • White to cream in colour Picture • Free from foreign matter, taints and coagulation • That has no abnormal odours. This test is at the discretion of the tanker driver and they are given the authority by Xxxxxx to reject any loads of milk that do not meet the criteria above. The supplier’s Field Services Officer will be informed and will come out and check that the supplier’s milk is fit to be collected. If so, then the tanker driver will return and pick up the milk. The supplier will be penalised at the company’s discretion for any loads that fail the sensory test. MILK PAYMENT SYSTEM Milk Pricing Opening Price By the 1st of June for the milk year commencing 1st July of the supply year, Xxxxxx will announce the Opening Price for the year for all suppliers in the Southern Milk Region. The Opening Price provides a minimum monthly price for butterfat and protein across the year and is based on the supply of premium quality milk. Beston will pay for butterfat and protein at a ratio of 1:2.2 which is reflected in all milk pricing components in this Handbook.

  • Reactivation To reactivate suspended Service, you must bring your account current through the month of reactivation by making payment in full of any outstanding balance, fees and other applicable charges. In addition, we may require a deposit before reactivating your Service. The amount of the deposit will not exceed one year of monthly fees. Any amounts deposited by you will appear on your statement as a credit, and service charges and other fees will be invoiced as described above. If you fail to pay any amount on a subsequent xxxx, the unpaid amount will be deducted each billing cycle from the credit amount. Credit amounts will not earn or accrue interest.

  • PRODUCTION DEFINITELY DISCONTINUED If the holder of the approval completely ceases to manufacture a type of vehicle approved in accordance with this Regulation, he shall so inform the authority which granted the approval, which in turn shall forthwith inform the other Contracting Parties to the Agreement applying this Regulation by means of a communication form conforming to the model in Annex 1 to this Regulation.

  • Corrective Measures If the Participating Generator fails to meet or maintain the requirements set forth in this Agreement and/or the CAISO Tariff, the CAISO shall be permitted to take any of the measures, contained or referenced in the CAISO Tariff, which the CAISO deems to be necessary to correct the situation.

  • Temperature Measurement Temperature will be measured by the nearest automatic Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology Monitoring Station for example (but not limited to): Melbourne, Moorabbin, Dunns Hill, Melbourne Airport, Frankston, and Point Xxxxxx. At the commencement of each project, the onsite management and employee representatives shall agree which is to be the applicable automatic weather monitoring station.

  • Forced Outages During any forced outage, the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner may suspend interconnection service to the Interconnection Customer to effect immediate repairs on the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. The NYISO shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the NYISO shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.

  • Contact Points 1. Each Party shall designate a contact point to facilitate communications between the Parties on any matter covered by this Agreement. 2. Upon request of the other Party, the contact point shall identify the office or official responsible for the matter and assist, as necessary, in facilitating communication with the requesting Party. Contact points shall work jointly to develop agendas and make other preparations for the Free Trade Commission meetings and follow-up on the Free Trade Commission's decisions as appropriate; provide administrative support to the Panels established under Chapter 15 (Dispute Settlement) and address any other matter entrusted by the Free Trade Commission.
