Common use of Fire and Life Safety Clause in Contracts

Fire and Life Safety. Tenant shall maintain in good order and repair the sprinkler, fire-alarm and life-safety system in the Premises in accordance with this Lease including, without limitation, the provisions of Section 6.2 respecting any repairs affecting any Building System, the Rules and Regulations and all Requirements. If the Fire Insurance Rating Organization or any Governmental Authority or any of Landlord’s insurers requires or recommends any modifications and/or alterations be made or any additional equipment be supplied in connection with the sprinkler system or fire alarm and life-safety system serving the Building by reason of Tenant’s business, any Alterations performed by Tenant or the location of the partitions, Tenant’s Property, or other contents of the Premises, Landlord (to the extent outside of the Premises) or Tenant (to the extent within the Premises) shall make such modifications and/or Alterations, and supply such additional equipment, in either case at Tenant’s expense.
