Fellow's Responsibilities. The Fellow shall devote full-time effort in performing satisfactorily in all areas of the residency program including, without limitation, demonstrating didactic and clinical competency and displaying appropriate, professional behavior. General responsibilities are outlined in the Resident/Fellow Physician Manual, which is attached as Exhibit A and incorporated in this Agreement by reference. The Fellow must also abide by the current Human Resources and Hospital policies of each institution to which the Fellow may rotate. This includes all employee health and employment-related requirements of each institution, including drug testing, nicotine screening and criminal background checks. To the extent that these policies are in conflict with, and/or inconsistent with Exhibits A and/or A-1, the Exhibits shall be controlling. Xxxxxxx Hospital reserves the right to amend Exhibit A from time to time at its sole discretion. The position of housestaff physician entails the provision of care commensurate with the housestaff physician's level of advancement and competence, under the general supervision of appropriately privileged attending teaching staff, and includes: • Participation in the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate patient care; • Developing an understanding of ethical, socioeconomic and medical-legal issues that affect graduate medical education and how to apply cost containment measures in the provision of patient care; • Participation in the educational activities of the training program and, as appropriate, assumption of responsibility for teaching and supervising other Fellows and students, and participation in institutional orientation and education programs and other activities involving the clinical staff; • Participation on institutional committees and councils to which the housestaff physician is appointed or invited; • Performance of all responsibilities and duties in accordance with the established practices, procedures and policies of the institution, and those of its programs, clinical departments and other institutions to which the housestaff physician is assigned, including, among others, state licensing requirements for physicians in training, where these exist; • Participation in the evaluation of the quality of education provided by the Residency Program; and • Assistance in recruiting new Fellows to the Residency Program and institution. The Fellow may not assign or delegate any of these responsibilities.

Fellow's Responsibilities. By participating in the Program, the Fellow agrees to commit to the following: • Participation of Fellow in training bootcamp from May 17, 2020 to May 30, 2020. Fellow will be receiving up to $350 during the bootcamp for living stipend and incidentals. To receive full amount, Fellow will need to be present for entirety of bootcamp training; • Engaging in a one-year, full-time job assignment in a substantive position that contributes directly to the Employer’s mission and goals; • Recognizing and acknowledging that he or she is representing IDF, the Program and their Host Employer/Organization, and commit to doing so in a professional manner. This includes punctuality, professional dress, language, and appropriate use of technology; • Notify Hacker Fellows program director if planning to or have been removed from position with Employer; • If Fellow is unemployed, Fellow agrees to actively seek employment with a Michigan-based company during Program commitment; • Fellow is required to write one (1) blog post during the program. Blog post will be published on the Hacker Fellows website and is 1,500 words or less. Term Fellow will commit to the Program and Host Employer/Organization for a one-year period of time beginning May 17, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021 unless earlier terminated in accordance with the Termination section below. Termination Fellows are at-will employees of the Host Employer/Organization and will be subject to the personnel policies, guidelines and procedures, including evaluation and disciplinary procedures, of the Host Employer/Organization. If the performance of the Fellow is not acceptable according to Host Employer/Organization requirements and guidelines then the Fellow’s employment may be terminated by the Host Employer/Organization. A Fellow’s participation in the Program is also subject to termination at any time. Specifically, a Fellow’s participation in the Program may be terminated under the following conditions and circumstances prior to June 30, 2021: • The private philanthropic foundation grant funds obtained by IDF to launch and support the Program including training and networking activities, are discontinued; • The Fellow is terminated from the Program, by the Program, due to failure or inability to participate in Program events or other required activities on two (2) or more unacceptably excused occasions; • Fellow is mutually terminated from the Program due to personal reason affecting the Fellow’s ability and/or commit...
