Common use of Expiration of Paid Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Expiration of Paid Sick Leave. When an employee has reached the maximum of the sick leave which may be awarded him/her, he/she shall, if he/she is still unfit to return to duty, proceed at his/her option on annual leave if he/she is eligible to receive such leave, or if not, on special leave without pay to a maximum of one (1) year.
