Excessed Placement Session Sample Clauses

The Excessed Placement Session clause establishes a formal process for assigning employees whose positions have been eliminated or are no longer needed within an organization. Typically, this session involves identifying available vacancies and matching excessed employees to suitable roles based on qualifications, seniority, or other relevant criteria. Its core function is to ensure a fair and orderly reassignment of staff, minimizing disruption and providing job security for affected employees.
Excessed Placement Session. At the excessed placement session excessed employees who have not obtained a position through the voluntary transfer process will be placed in vacancies in seniority order by the Labor/Management Placement Committee, which is comprised of representatives from the District, ESP Union, and Principals’ Forum. Excessed employees who are placed by the committee will retain their hourly allocation from their previous assignment and will be placed in positions of equal hours. If a position of equal hours is not available then excessed employees will be placed in the position closest to their previously held assignment in seniority order. Excessed employees are encouraged to give their preferences for placement to their union representatives prior to the Labor/Management Placement Committee meeting if they are unable to obtain a position in the June or July on-line posting process.
Excessed Placement Session. Excessed employees who do not secure a position through the posting and application process will attend an excessed placement session. Employees will be notified of the placement session at least five days in advance of the session.
