Common use of Exception Paragraph Clause in Contracts

Exception Paragraph. At the discretion of the supervising principal, a teacher may be excused for a period of time not to exceed forty-five (45) minutes to attend to personal and professional matters that cannot be handled at another time. The intention is not to cover for sickness but to attend to matters of a professional or personal nature that can be handled only in this manner.
