Common use of Establishment of Seniority List Clause in Contracts

Establishment of Seniority List. A current seniority list shall be posted in all building locations, with a copy to the Exclusive Representative. The seniority list will be updated as of January 1 of each year and posted no later than March 1 of each year. Any employee whose name appears on the list and who disagrees with the findings of the School District relating to seniority shall have ten (10) working days following the date of the posting to appeal his/her placement to the Human Resources office. Any changes determined by the Director of Human Resources to be warranted will be made within ten (10) working days after the initial 10-day review period and a final list will then be posted, with a copy forwarded to the Exclusive Representative. The final list shall be binding on the School District and Exclusive Representative.
