Common use of Engagement of Project Personnel Clause in Contracts

Engagement of Project Personnel. The Research Institute agrees to secure the Project Personnel if the Co-Principal Investigator requests. The Project Personnel shall not be considered or treated as employees of JST, rather, the Research Institute shall treat each such Project Personnel as its own employee. Costs of employing the Project Personnel, including applicable taxes and benefits, can be allocated as a part of Direct Costs in accordance with Article 5, and shall be reported to JST in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

The Research Institute agrees to secure the Project Personnel if the Co-Principal Investigator requestsmay request the Research Institute to engage Project Personnel with the Research Funds under this Agreement. The Such Project Personnel shall not be considered or treated as employees of JST, rather, the Research Institute shall treat each such Project Personnel as its own employee. Costs of employing the Project Personnel, including applicable taxes and benefits, can be allocated as a part of Direct Costs in accordance with the Research Expenses subject to Article 5, and shall be reported to JST in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

The Project Personnel shall not be considered or treated as employees of JST, rather, the Research Institute shall treat each such Project Personnel as its own employee. Costs of employing the Project Personnel, including applicable taxes and benefits, can be allocated as a part of Direct Costs in accordance with Article 5, and shall be reported to JST in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
