Common use of Employment Duties and Acceptance Clause in Contracts

Employment Duties and Acceptance. 1.1. The Company hereby employs the Employee for the Term (as hereinafter defined) to render services to the Company as its chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer, subject to the direction of the Board of Directors, and, in connection therewith, to perform such executive and managerial duties as he shall be directed by the Board of Directors consistent with Employee's position as chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer and consistent with the duties performed by the Employee immediately prior to the date of this Agreement.

Employment Duties and Acceptance. 1.1. 1.1 The Company hereby employs the Employee Employee, for the Term (as hereinafter defined) ), to render full-time services to the Company as its chairman of the boardCompany, president and chief executive officer, subject to the direction of the Board of Directors, and, in connection therewith, to perform such executive and managerial duties as he shall reasonably be directed by the Board Chief Executive Officer of Directors consistent with the Company to perform. The Employee's position as chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer and consistent with the duties performed title shall be designated by the Employee immediately prior to the date of this AgreementChief Executive Officer and initially shall be Vice President, Preclinical Development.
