Common use of Employer Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Employer Responsibility. 2.1 The Employer recognizes the Union as the Exclusive Bargaining Agent for all Employees coming within the scope of this Agreement and more particularly described in Schedule “A” and they are hereinafter referred to as “Employee” or “Employees”, whichever is the case. In this Agreement the word “Employee” means a person hired by the Employer for a position which is set out in Schedule “A” and who is on the active payroll of the Employer. The Employer further agrees to recognize all Union officers coming within the scope of this Agreement. The Union shall provide the Employer a list of all Union Officers and Committee Members and subsequent amendments.
