Common use of Employee-Elected Training Clause in Contracts

Employee-Elected Training. a. Any unit employee desirous of obtaining training which will improve skills to perform current duties may, at the discretion of the District be given release time with pay not to exceed five (5) hours per week to attend college classes for such training provided it is for legitimate job related purposes.
