Common use of Emergency Call-In Pay Clause in Contracts

Emergency Call-In Pay. Any employee called in to work outside the regularly scheduled hours will be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours pay. This provision is applicable only when the employee has completed the daily run and signed out for the day and is not applicable in the event of additional assigned work immediately before or after the employee’s regularly scheduled work day. When there is a break of thirty minutes or less between the employee’s regular work day and the extra assignment this minimum pay provision shall not apply.
