Eligibility for Xxxxxx AmeriCorps Program. 1. To be eligible to enroll in AmeriCorps, an individual must: • Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national or a lawful permanent resident alien of the United States • Be at least 17 years old (or at least 16 years of age if the member is out of school and a participant in a youth corps or a program for certain disadvantaged individuals); and • Have a high school diploma or GED or agree to obtain one during their term of service.

  • Eligibility for Promotion An employee in the classification of Police Officer must have a minimum of five (5) years service in the classification of Lincoln Police Officer as of March 1 of the testing year to be eligible to test for the classification of Sergeant.
