Common use of Electronic Grievance Form Clause in Contracts

Electronic Grievance Form. (a) The parties agree to use the electronic version of the (O.N.A. Grievance Form at Appendix 1). (b) The parties agree that hard copies of the electronic form are valid for purposes of Article 8 (grievance procedure). (c) Electronic grievances may be sent, via email, to the applicable manager and copied to Human Resources, or the identified designate. (d) The electronic signature of the Union representative or Labour Relations Officer will be accepted as the original signature. (e) The Union undertakes to get a copy of the electronic version signed by the Grievor. (f) The parties agree to not use or rely upon any preliminary arguments related to the use of the electronic version should a grievance proceed to mediation or arbitration.
