EDUCATIONAL PAY. A. All unit employees may qualify for a two and one-half percent (2½%) salary increase above their position classified range upon receipt of a two-year degree, in a field relative to their police job classification, from an accredited junior college or college or Intermediate P.O.S.T. Certificate, upon approval of the Police Chief and City Manager. B. All unit employees may qualify for a five percent (5%) salary increase above their position classified range upon receipt of a four-year degree, in a field relative to their police job classification, from an accredited college or Advanced P.O.S.T. Certificate, upon approval of the Police Chief and City Manager.
