Educational Goals and Program. Distinctive Schools shall implement the educational goals and programs set forth in the Contract, including but not limited to methods of pupil assessment, admission policy and criteria, school calendar and school day schedule, age and grade classifications or pupils to be enrolled, and methods to be used to monitor performance towards targeted educational outcomes. In the event that Distinctive Schools determines that it is advisable to modify the educational goals and program set forth in the Contract, Distinctive Schools will provide written notification to the Board specifying the changes it recommends and the reasons for the proposed changes. No changes in the educational goals and programs shall be implemented without the prior written approval of the Board and CPS. Distinctive Schools shall provide the Board with periodic written reports specifying the level of achievement of each of the Charter School's educational goals set forth in the Contract and detailing its plan for meeting any educational goals that are not being attained. These reports will be submitted to the Board immediately prior to the Board's regular meeting in January and July each year, and at such other times as specified in Board policy as the time may be changed from time to time.
Educational Goals and Program. Subject to the oversight of the Board, CORNERSTONE agrees to implement the educational goals and program as set forth in the ACADEMY's Charter (the "Educational Program"). DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST ▇▇▇▇ MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3).   • Safety Objectives 55.1 The Parties recognise the potentially hazardous nature of the construction industry. To this end, the Parties to the Agreement are committed to continuous improvement in occupational health and safety standards through the implementation of an organisational framework which involves all Parties in protecting Employees’ health and safety. 55.2 In meeting these objectives, the Parties have agreed to consider a broad agenda through the consultative processes established by this Agreement. Such an agenda will include: (a) measures designed to include the safe operation of plant and equipment; (b) training issues including specific hazards, health and safety systems, and site induction; (c) management of occupational health and safety through a comprehensive approach which aims to control hazards at their source, reduce the incidence and costs of occupational injuries and illnesses; and (d) risk of fatigue (see clauses 38.5 and 38.6). 55.3 The Employer will comply with all relevant work health and safety legislation, including the OHS Act, workers compensation legislation, regulations, codes of practice and relevant and appropriate Australian and Industry Standards produced or recognised by WorkSafe Victoria.

  • Objectives The Parties conclude this Agreement, among others, for purposes of: (a) Encouraging expansion and diversification of trade between the Parties; (b) Eliminating the barriers to trade in, and facilitate the cross-border movement of goods and services between the Parties; (c) Promoting fair competition in the Parties' markets; (d) Creating new employment opportunities; (e) Creating framework for furthering bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation to expand and enhance the benefits of this Agreement; and (f) Providing forum and approach for resolution of disputes amiably.
