Common use of Educational Goals and Program Clause in Contracts

Educational Goals and Program. edtec shall implement the educational goals and programs set forth in the Charter Contract, including, but not limited to, methods of pupil assess- ment, admission policy and criteria, school calendar and school day schedule, age and grade clas- sifications for pupils to be enrolled, and methods to be used to monitor performance towards tar- geted educational outcomes. In the event that edtec determines that it is advisable to modify the educational goals and programs set forth in the Charter Contract, edtec will provide written noti- fication to the Board specifying the changes it recommends and the reasons for the proposed changes. No changes in the educational goals and programs shall be implemented without the prior approval of the Board and a Charter Contract amendment approved by the Board and DPSCD. edtec shall provide the Board with periodic written reports specifying the level of achievement of each of the Academy’s educational goals set forth in the Charter Contract and detailing its plan for meeting any educational goals that are not being attained, such reports to be submitted on a regular periodic basis and upon request of the Board.
