Driver Appearance. Drivers shall be polite and well groomed at all times during daily operations.
Driver Appearance. 12.1 All of the Contractor's bus operators are expected to present a professional appearance at all times. Contractor's drivers shall wear a SEPTA type uniform or approved equal. It is the intention of these requirements that the uniform closely duplicate the current SEPTA operator's uniform. The only distinguishing item on the uniform will be a name badge clearly providing the Operator's first name and employee number. In all other respects, the appearance of the Operator shall closely resemble the current SEPTA uniform. 12.2 Proper operator uniform and appearance is necessary for public acceptance and consistency with other SEPTA operations. Proper uniform and appearance consists of the following: 12.2.1 Shirt - Long or short sleeve, light blue in a uniform color with button front. If a tie is worn, the collar must be buttoned and the tie snug. Long sleeves must be buttoned and shirttails tucked in at all times. 12.2.2 Trousers - Dark blue in a uniform color with belt loops and without cuffs. 12.2.3 Jackets and sweaters - Optional, dark blue jacket and sweater. 12.2.4 Ties - Post Office Blue ties may be worn while on duty. Ties may be worn while on duty. Ties may be pre-tied, four-in-hand, bolo, or cross. 12.2.5 Socks - Socks must be dark blue, or black. Female operators may wear hose. 12.2.6 Shoes - Shoes must be leather, black or dark ▇▇▇▇▇ in color, with laces to match, if required. All shoes must be capable of being polished and shall be kept presentable. No running, tennis, canvas, open toe, open heel, platform heel or spike heel (more than 1 1/2 " shoes are allowed). Sandals are not allowed. 12.2.7 Belt - The belt must be black or ▇▇▇▇▇, in a solid color, with operator's choice of buckle. 12.2.8 Skirts - Skirts, dark blue in color, may be worn by female operators in lieu of trousers. Skirts must be worn no shorter than four (4) inches above the knee, measured from a kneeling position, nor longer than seven (7) inches from the floor, measured from a standing position. If a skirt has belt loops, a belt must be worn which can be looped through the belt loops. The operator may also wear a belt on a skirt without loops, provided that the belt does not cause a rolling, bunching, or gathering of the skirt. Skirts shall be properly fastened and well-fitting at all times. 12.2.9 Jewelry - All jewelry should be kept to a minimum, and any item which presents a safety hazard is strictly prohibited.   • Signs; Exterior Appearance Tenant shall not, without the prior written consent of Landlord, which may be granted or withheld in Landlord’s sole discretion: (i) attach any awnings, exterior lights, decorations, balloons, flags, pennants, banners, painting or other projection to any outside wall of the Project, (ii) use any curtains, blinds, shades or screens other than Landlord’s standard window coverings, (iii) coat or otherwise sunscreen the interior or exterior of any windows, (iv) place any bottles, parcels, or other articles on the window ▇▇▇▇▇, (v) place any equipment, furniture or other items of personal property on any exterior balcony, or (vi) paint, affix or exhibit on any part of the Premises or the Project any signs, notices, window or door lettering, placards, decorations, or advertising media of any type which can be viewed from the exterior of the Premises. Interior signs on doors and the directory tablet shall be inscribed, painted or affixed for Tenant by Landlord at the sole cost and expense of Tenant, and shall be of a size, color and type acceptable to Landlord. Nothing may be placed on the exterior of corridor walls or corridor doors other than Landlord’s standard lettering. The directory tablet shall be provided exclusively for the display of the name and location of tenants.

  • Appearance The Employee must appear at the Employer’s desired workplace at the time scheduled. If the Employee does not appear, for any reason, on more than separate occasions in a 12-month calendar period the Employer has the right to terminate this Agreement immediately. In such event, the Employee would not be granted severance as stated in Section III.

  • Personal Appearance All teachers shall maintain dress, grooming and personal appearance consistent with their area of teaching.

  • Court Appearance (a) In the event an Employee is required to appear before a court of law as a member of a jury, as a witness in a criminal matter or as a witness in any matter arising out of the Employee’s employment with the Employer, the Employee shall: (i) suffer no loss of regular earnings for the scheduled Shift(s) so missed; (ii) be paid an amount equal to the Employee’s average daily earnings at the Basic Rate of Pay to a maximum of the Employee’s regularly scheduled daily hours for each day in attendance in court on a scheduled day of rest, and be granted an alternate day of rest as scheduled by the Employer. Such rescheduling of the day of rest shall not be construed to be a violation of the scheduling provisions of Article 7:

  • Excavation If an excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to the Leased Premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter upon the Leased Premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or the building of which the Leased Premises form a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundation, without any claim for damages or indemnity from Landlord, or diminution or abatement of Rent.
