Drawing from the Bank. After the exhaustion of personal sick leave accumulation, any member of the Sick Leave Bank shall be entitled to use the Sick Leave Bank for any bona fide illness or disability, effective upon notice to the campus Personnel Office and The granting of such sick leave shall be subject to the same criteria as personal sick leave days and shall be consistent with University policy. A member is entitled to 90 days of sick leave from the bank unless a majority of the Sick Leave Committee votes to deny the request or to authorize a lesser amount. The member shall receive days from the bank until the Sick Leave Committee makes such a decision. The number of days authorized by the Committee, if less than 90 days, or the 90-day limit, may be extended if a majority of the Sick Leave Committee, acting on a request from the member, votes to extend.
