Common use of Double Time Paid Salary Clause in Contracts

Double Time Paid Salary. Authorized overtime pay will be compensated at double time for: • all work required to be performed on the employee's second consecutive regularly scheduled day off. • hours worked during the second shift of a double shift when notification of the requirement to work a double shift is not provided prior to the end of the shift of the last previously scheduled working day. • an employee working a paid holiday, the overtime paid will be in addition to the regular day's pay.
