Common use of Dislocation Pay Clause in Contracts

Dislocation Pay. To offset additional travel cost and inconvenience, in the event an employee is temporarily reassigned to a location that is not their normal work location, the following will apply: 1. Employees who are notified of a location change prior to the reassignment will receive 2. Employees who are notified to report to another location on that day after their workday has begun will receive paid travel time and mileage reimbursement (upon submission of the mileage reporting form) from their regular work location to the other work location and $15/per day of additional compensations for the day when they are working away from their regular work location(s); 3. Employees will be compensated for at least their normal amount of workhours on any day they are assigned to the other work location.

The District will attempt to seek volunteers for dislocation prior to temporarily reassigning an employee to a different work location.
