Common use of Diesel tax Clause in Contracts

Diesel tax. If the volume of diesel operation on the (Øresund) link exceeds the original operational plan, ØSB reserves the right to charge a specified diesel tax. The diesel tax is only charged to cover the consortium’s additional costs for increased inspection and maintenance of the Øresund tunnel, which can be attributed to the increased contamination of the tunnel. For more information on diesel operation, see ØSB’s Network Statement.
