Dielectric Tests Sample Clauses

A dielectric tests clause sets out requirements for testing the electrical insulation properties of equipment or materials to ensure they can withstand specified voltages without breakdown. Typically, this clause details the procedures, standards, and conditions under which the tests must be performed, such as the voltage levels applied and the duration of the test. Its core function is to verify product safety and reliability by confirming that insulation is adequate, thereby reducing the risk of electrical failures or hazards.
Dielectric Tests. 3.30.8.1. Control and Auxiliary Circuit Dielectric Test: These devices shall be tested by application of 500 Volt DC Megger to ground. Electronic equipment manufacturers shall be consulted as to the ability of such equipment to withstand such test without damage.‌ 3.30.7.2. Interrupter Dielectric Test: Each interrupter shall pass a power frequency withstand test at 60 Hz for one minute. The required test value shall be at least three times rated line to ground voltage.‌
Dielectric Tests. The Windings and all connections of each transformer with its voltage control apparatus when completely assembled including bushing insulators or cable boxes, shall be subjected to dielectric tests in accordance with the provisions of IEC.60076 except where there are varied by the following requirements: (i) Where single-phase induced voltage tests are used, the tests shall be applied to each phase in succession. (ii) Insulation resistance tests on the winding shall be carried out by an approved method both before and after the high voltage tests. Where the normal specified voltage ratio is adjusted to take account of anticipated voltage regulation the value of test voltage selected shall be based on that appropriate to the highest system voltage.

  • Substance Abuse Testing The Parties agree that it is in the best interest of all concerned to promote a safe working environment. The Union has no objection to pre-employment substance abuse testing when required by the Employer and further, the Union has no objection to voluntary substance abuse testing to qualify for employment on projects when required by a project owner. The cost and scheduling of such testing shall be paid for and arranged by the Employer. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for any failed pre-access Alcohol and Drug test costs.

  • Stability Testing Patheon will conduct stability testing on the Products in accordance with the protocols set out in the Specifications for the separate fees and during the time periods set out in Schedule C. Patheon will not make any changes to these testing protocols without prior written approval from Client. If a confirmed stability test failure occurs, Patheon will notify Client within [***], after which Patheon and Client will jointly determine the proceedings and methods to be undertaken to investigate the cause of the failure, including which party will bear the cost of the investigation. Patheon will not be liable for these costs unless it has failed to perform the Manufacturing Services in accordance with the Specifications and cGMPs. Patheon will give Client all stability test data and results at Client’s request.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.
