Common use of Deviation Notification of Contractor(s) Clause in Contracts

Deviation Notification of Contractor(s). The Inspector shall notify a contractor verbally and in writing of any deviations from the approved Contract Documents by that contractor or its subcontractors. Deviations include both construction deviations and material deficiencies. If the contractor does not correct the deviation within a reasonable time frame after the verbal notice, then the Inspector shall promptly issue a written notice of deviation to the contractor with a copy sent to the District, the Architect, and the construction manager.
