Determination/Required Reports. 8.7.1.1.1 Assignments—Light-duty assignments may be made following evaluation and determination by the Chief of Police. The determination will be based on available medical information, and consultation with the employee or the affected supervisor. Determinations will also be based on the needs of the City and the impact of light duty work on departmental operations.
